Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Potentials: FC26 Career Mode mobile application ("App", "Service"). By downloading, creating an account, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Definitions

  • App: The Potentials: FC26 Career Mode mobile application and related websites
  • Developer / We / Us / Our: iCat Studios
  • User / You / Your: The person who uses the App
  • Service: All features and content offered by the App
  • User Content: Comments, replies, username, avatar, and all other content you create in the App

2. Account Creation and Use

2.1 Eligibility and Creating an Account

Most of the App's data features can be used without an account. To post comments, reply to others, or use the social features, you must create an account using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. When creating an account:

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
  • You must provide accurate and current information
  • You may not create an account using someone else's identity or false information
  • A person may only have one account, and your account is personal to you

2.2 Account Security

You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must safeguard your Apple ID or Google account, must not allow others to access your account, and must inform the Developer immediately of any suspicious activity.

2.3 Account Termination

The Developer reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user's account, temporarily or permanently, without prior notice, in the cases described in section 3 and section 9.

3. User Content and Community Conduct

3.1 Ownership and License

The comments and replies you post remain your content. However, by posting content in the App, you grant the Developer a free, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, and transferable license to store, display, reproduce, and publish that content within the App and to other users for the purpose of operating the Service.

You acknowledge that your comments and replies are public and can be seen by all other users, shown together with your username and avatar.

3.2 Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content and Abusive Behavior

The App has a strict zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. When posting comments, replies, or any other content, the following are strictly prohibited:

  • Profanity, insults, or offensive language
  • Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation of other users
  • Hate speech or content that is racist, sexist, discriminatory, or degrading
  • Sexually explicit, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate content
  • Spam, advertising, scams, or repetitive/irrelevant content
  • Illegal content or content that promotes illegal activity
  • Impersonation of another person or entity
  • Sharing other users' personal or contact information without consent
  • Any content or behavior intended to disturb, provoke, or harm other users

By using the App you agree that there is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Content that violates this section will be removed, and users who post it may be banned.

3.3 Reporting and Moderation

The App provides a mechanism to report objectionable comments and replies. You agree to use it in good faith; false or abusive reports are themselves a violation of these Terms.

When content is reported or otherwise detected, the Developer reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to:

  • Remove or hide the content
  • Suspend the offending user's account for a limited period
  • Permanently ban the user from the App

We aim to act on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours, including removing the content and/or ejecting the user who posted it.

3.4 Blocking Other Users

You can block other users. When you block a user:

  • That user can no longer see your comments and replies, and you no longer see theirs
  • Neither of you is shown to the other in the relevant areas of the App

Blocking is a personal tool to control your own experience and does not replace reporting content that violates these Terms.

3.5 Responsibility for Content

Comments and replies are created by users and do not reflect the views of the Developer. The Developer does not endorse and is not responsible for user-generated content, but reserves the right to moderate it as described above.

4. Acceptable Use

In addition to section 3, the following are prohibited when using the App:

  • Attempting to circumvent the App's security mechanisms or account/ban systems (for example, creating a new account to evade a ban)
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App
  • Copying, distributing, or commercially exploiting App content without permission
  • Using automated tools (bots, scripts) to create accounts, post content, or scrape data
  • Attempting actions that overload servers or disrupt the Service

5. Intellectual Property Rights

5.1 Ownership of the App

The Potentials name, logo, visuals, design, source code, and the original content of the App are the intellectual property of iCat Studios, protected by copyright, trademark, trade secrets, and other applicable intellectual property rights.

5.2 Third-Party Trademarks

The App displays player names, club names, league names, ratings, and similar identifiers to help users browse and analyze football data. These names and any associated trademarks are the property of their respective owners - including but not limited to EA Sports, FIFA, individual football clubs, leagues, national federations, and the players themselves.

Potentials is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to EA Sports, the EA SPORTS FC or FIFA brands, or any club, league, federation, or organization referenced in the App. All third-party names and trademarks are used solely for identification and descriptive purposes under the principle of nominative fair use. If you are a rights holder and wish to report a concern, please contact us at the address in section 12.

6. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". The Developer makes no warranties that the App will operate error-free, uninterrupted, or securely, or that the player data, ratings, and other information shown will always be accurate, current, or complete. Football data is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.

The Developer is not responsible for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to the use of the App, including data loss, device malfunctions, third-party service disruptions, or any harm arising from interactions between users.

7. Apple and Google Disclaimer

7.1 Regarding Apple Inc.

This App is distributed through the Apple App Store for the iOS version. In this context:

  • Apple Inc. bears no responsibility whatsoever for this App or its content
  • Apple cannot be held responsible for App malfunctions, errors, interactions between users, or any other matter
  • Apple Inc. has no obligation whatsoever if the App violates these Terms of Use
  • Maintenance, support, and user services for this App are solely the responsibility of iCat Studios
  • Apple Inc. is exempt from any liability for legal issues or claims arising within the App
  • Users of the App cannot direct any claims directly against Apple Inc.
  • Apple Inc. is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce these Terms when necessary

7.2 Regarding Google LLC

This App is distributed through the Google Play Store for the Android version. In this context:

  • Google LLC bears no responsibility whatsoever for this App or its content
  • Google cannot be held responsible for App malfunctions, errors, interactions between users, or any other matter
  • Maintenance, support, and user services for this App are solely the responsibility of iCat Studios
  • The Google Play Store is solely a distribution platform for the App and bears no responsibility for the content or operation of the App

7.3 Apple Sign-In and Google Sign-In

The App uses Apple Sign-In and Google Sign-In services for authentication. The operation, maintenance, and security of these services belong to the respective service providers. The Developer cannot be held responsible for any disruptions or issues with these services.

8. Paid Features and Subscriptions

The App offers paid features under "Potentials Pro" or similar names:

  • All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (subscription management is handled via RevenueCat as our reconciliation provider; we do not see or store your payment card information).
  • Payment, refund, and subscription management are subject to the policies of the respective platform.
  • Refund requests must be submitted to Apple or Google; refund requests cannot be sent directly to the Developer.
  • Pro subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time from your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
  • Pro features provide an enhanced, ad-free experience and do not affect the moderation of the community or any user's standing.

9. Service Modification or Termination

The Developer may, at any time and for any reason, modify, add, or remove App features, temporarily suspend the App, terminate the App entirely, or discontinue the Service in certain regions. Users may not claim any compensation due to such changes.

The Developer may also suspend or terminate your account, remove your content, and ban you from the App if you breach these Terms, in particular section 3.

10. Changes to These Terms

The Developer reserves the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Significant changes will be published on this page, will refresh the "Last updated" date at the top, and may be sent as in-app notifications. Continuing to use the App after the changes are published means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be resolved by the Istanbul Courts and Enforcement Offices.
