By downloading or using Lineup, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Definitions

  • App: the Lineup: Football Squad Builder mobile application for iOS and Android.
  • Developer / we / us: iCat Studios.
  • User / you: any person who downloads or uses the App.
  • Service: the App together with the features and content it provides.
  • User Content: the squads, formations, badges, titles, images and other material you create with the App.

2. Use of the App

The App requires no account, no sign-in and no personal information. All features are available immediately after installation, subject to the limits described in section 6.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

The App works offline. An internet connection is used only to download images, show advertising and verify subscriptions.

3. User Content

Squads and images you create with the App belong to you. They are stored on your device; we do not host, moderate or have access to them.

When you export or share an image created with the App, you are responsible for how and where you publish it, and for complying with the rules of the platform you publish it on and with any third-party rights involved.

You may use images produced by the App for personal and non-commercial purposes, including posting them on social media. Selling them, or using them in a way that suggests an official endorsement by a club, league or player, is not permitted.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code or bundled database of the App, except where such restriction is prohibited by law
  • redistribute, resell or republish the App's data or assets as your own product or dataset
  • use automated tools to interact with the App or the services it depends on
  • interfere with advertising delivery, subscription verification or any security measure
  • use the App for any unlawful purpose

We may suspend or terminate access to any feature if these rules are breached.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The App itself, including its source code, interface, design, badge templates, icons and original graphics, is the property of iCat Studios and is protected by copyright.

Club names, crests, kit designs, competition names, player names and player images shown in the App belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and descriptive purposes. Lineup is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to FIFA, UEFA, any national federation, league, club, player or video-game publisher.

Rights holders who wish to raise a concern about content in the App may contact support@icatstudios.com.

6. Free Use, Paid Features and Subscriptions

The App is free to download and use. The free version shows advertising and allows up to five squads at a time.

Lineup Pro is an auto-renewable subscription offered as a monthly or annual plan. It removes advertising and lifts the squad limit.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
  • Prices are shown in the store before purchase and may vary by country and over time.
  • Purchases are processed by Apple and Google; RevenueCat is used to verify subscription status. We never receive your payment details.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by the Developer. Requests should be made through the relevant store.
  • "Restore Purchases" in the app's settings restores an active subscription on a new device or after reinstalling.

7. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

The player and club data bundled with the App is provided for informational and entertainment purposes. It may be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate, and it does not represent official squad registrations. Foreign-player limit calculations are an aid for planning only; competition regulations change and are decided solely by the relevant federation or league. You should not rely on the App for any official, professional or financial decision.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, for loss of data, or for any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

8. Apple and Google Disclaimer

These Terms are concluded between you and iCat Studios only, not with Apple Inc. or Google LLC. Apple and Google have no responsibility whatsoever for the App or its content, and no obligation to furnish maintenance or support. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price where applicable; beyond that, Apple and Google have no other warranty obligation. Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

9. Service Modification or Termination

We may modify, suspend or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time, including the content of the bundled database. We are not obliged to provide compensation for such changes. Active subscriptions continue under the store's own rules.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the App evolves. The updated version takes effect when published on this page and the effective date above is refreshed. Continued use of the App after publication means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Istanbul Courts and Enforcement Offices, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
