Your privacy matters to us. Lineup is designed to work without an account: you can build, edit and share squads without signing in, and everything you create stays on your device. This policy explains what limited data is processed when you use the app, who processes it, and what rights you have.

1. Data We Collect

Data you create in the app (stored only on your device)

  • Squads you build: formations, players, substitutes, badges, colours, titles and screenshot preferences
  • Player statuses and foreign-player limit settings you configure
  • App settings such as language, currency and unit preferences

This content is stored in the app's local storage on your device. We do not upload it to our servers, and we cannot see it. It is not backed up to any account we control; it may be included in your own device backups (iCloud or Google) if you have enabled them.

Data processed by third-party services

  • Advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) and standard ad-request data, used by Google AdMob to serve ads
  • Consent choices you make in the Google consent (UMP) dialog, where applicable
  • Anonymous subscription identifier and purchase status, processed by RevenueCat to verify whether Lineup Pro is active
  • Crash and performance diagnostics, processed by Microsoft App Center
  • Technical request data (IP address, device type, approximate region, timestamps) recorded automatically when the app downloads images such as player photos, club logos, kits and flags from our content storage

Data we do not collect

  • No name, email address, phone number or postal address
  • No account, password or sign-in of any kind
  • No location data
  • No contacts, photos, health or financial data
  • No user comments, messages or public profiles

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To display and cache the images (player photos, club logos, kits, flags) shown in the app
  • To show advertising (and, only where you have consented, personalized advertising)
  • To verify your Lineup Pro subscription status and restore previous purchases
  • To detect crashes and errors so that we can fix them
  • To comply with legal obligations where required

We do not use your data for profiling, credit scoring or automated decisions with legal effects.

3. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

We may also disclose data where required by law, court order or a lawful request from a public authority.

4. Where and How Long We Store Your Data

  • Your squads and settings remain on your device for as long as the app is installed. Deleting the app removes them. We hold no copy.
  • Image request logs kept by our content storage provider are retained for a short technical period and are used only for delivery and abuse prevention.
  • Advertising, subscription and diagnostic data is retained by the relevant third party according to its own policy, linked above.

Because we operate no user accounts and no user database, there is no personal profile of you for us to store or delete.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right under the GDPR, the Turkish KVKK and similar laws to:

  • request access to the data processed about you
  • request correction or erasure
  • request restriction of, or object to, processing
  • request data portability
  • withdraw consent for personalized advertising at any time

Because we do not hold accounts, most of these rights are exercised directly:

  • Delete everything we could possibly hold about your use of the app by deleting the app from your device.
  • Withdraw advertising consent on iOS via Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and on Android via Settings → Google → Ads. Where a consent dialog was shown, you can also change your choice from within the app.
  • For anything else, contact support@icatstudios.com. We respond within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

Lineup is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that data belonging to a child has been processed, we will delete it immediately. Parents or guardians can contact support@icatstudios.com.

7. Data Security

All network traffic between the app and our content storage uses HTTPS. The app requires no password and holds no credentials, which removes the most common source of account compromise. Third-party payment and advertising data is handled by the providers listed in section 3 under their own security programmes. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the limited data involved.

8. Advertising and Tracking

Lineup shows advertising supplied by Google AdMob. Lineup Pro subscribers do not see ads.

  • iOS: before requesting personalized ads, the app presents Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, your advertising identifier (IDFA) is not used to track you and ads are non-personalized.
  • Android and EEA/UK users: where required, a Google-certified consent dialog is shown and your choice is passed to AdMob.
  • The app uses no browser cookies. Advertising SDKs may use device identifiers and similar technologies as described in Google's advertising policies.

9. Third-Party Content and Trademarks

Lineup is an independent squad-building tool. Club names, crests, kit designs, competition names, player names and player images that appear in the app belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and descriptive purposes.

Lineup has no affiliation with, endorsement by, sponsorship by, or official connection to FIFA, UEFA, any national federation, league, club, player or video-game publisher.

If you are a rights holder and believe content in the app should be removed, contact support@icatstudios.com and we will respond promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The updated version takes effect when it is published on this page, and the effective date above is refreshed. Significant changes may also be announced inside the app.
